I visited Priorslee Lake between 19-00 to 21-00 hoping for the Alpine Swift that was reported North of Broseley at 16-30, no luck just 5 Common Swifts.
I recorded:
Mute Swan 2 pairs with 4 cygnets & 3 cygnets
Great-crested Grebe 7 adults
Mallard 17
Coot 24 adults + 4+ imm [a lot more when not counting]
Moorhen 1
Black-headed Gull 2
Lesser Black-backed Gull 1
Common Tern 2 [for the 2 hours I was there]
Blackbird 4
Song Thrush 2 [singing]
Pied Wagtail 1
Wood Pigeon 4
Carrion Crow 2
Magpie 3
Swift 5
Swallow 2
House Martin 5
Chiffchaff 2 [singing]
Blackcap 2 [singing]
Reed Warbler 1 [singing in phragmities on the dam]
Greenfinch 1 [singing]
Reed Bunting 1 [singing].
