Birds notes:
- Three small groups of Wood Pigeons (totalling 21 birds) heading high N. Most fly-overs were making the usual E - W flights.
- Significant movement of 98 Black-headed Gulls S / SW. All much higher than usual, many in open groups but a few neat 'V-formations'. Very few at the lake.
- Only the three pairs of Great Crested Grebes remain.
- A / the Chiffchaff both calling and singing near the Wesley Brook bridge. What was probably a different bird calling in the NE area earlier.
- Siskins flying around all the time. They seemed to be congregate high in the trees around the Teece Drive gate again.

- 4 Canada Geese: two pairs outbound again
- 6 Greylag Geese: pair outbound; trio and single inbound.
- 1 Common Buzzard
- 1 Stock Dove

- 5 Lesser Black-backed Gulls
- 1 Cormorant

Notes:
- As so often difficult to confirm: single Great Crested Grebes seemed to be at opposite ends of the water - or were pedalling quickly.
- Seven Lesser Redpolls at the top end flushed by an errant dog. Probably too dull for decent photos anyway.
- Two single Siskins noted over. None in Alders around the water.
