Fogged out yesterday and earlier this morning. Visibility still too bad to get anything meaningful at the lake, but most of The Flash just about workable, though totals must be somewhat suspect
Only notable sightings were the Mute Swans. The previous cob, Yellow 52F has returned after care: unable to read who he was with. Another pair sharing the lake, apparently in harmony: they were Red 17H and Blue 7HLP. The cygnets were not seen but could have been on the island
Other information: there is a Telford & Wrekin Planning Application Notice relating to the ‘irregular grass area’ between Priorslee Avenue and Derwent Drive to mark it as a ‘Village Green’ (or some similar name). I had heard that there were to be houses built on the area opposite the dental and medical practice. That wooded area and parking areas do not seem to be included in the application. I was also told that the ‘car park’ (parks?) are (were?) owned by The Priorslee pub and could not be built on – but everyone has their price ...
