- some Goosanders seen flying off after 14:45. Still a few present at 16:05
- no gull-roost

Notes from here
- now one of the adult Mute Swans is missing
- Teal back again (gone from Trench Lock). I had been present for 45 minutes before they appeared
- drake Pochard still
- at least one of the Goosanders was still present at 16:00
- 174 Black-headed Gulls when I arrived. Perhaps some of these were already preparing to roost here as it is rather more than I usually find during the day. Main arrival after 15:15 with estimated totals: 350 @ 15:20; 650 @ 15:25; 750 @ 15:30; 1100 @ 15:35; 1600 at 15:45; 1800 at 16:00 when most seemed to have arrived. But ... as I walked back to Trench Lock c.300 flew in this direction
- 3 different Lesser Black-backed Gulls appeared on the water. Only one seemed to stay
