Notes from today:
another quiet morning
- possibly 26 of the Black-headed Gulls had roosted overnight
- 9 singing Song Thrushes this morning – almost drowning out other calls and song
other species heard in ‘song’ included Wood Pigeon, Great Tit, Willow Tit, Dunnock and Greenfinch
and
- a Nursery Web Spider (Pisaura mirabilis) on a different lamp from Monday’s record: no moths
