Bird notes from today
- 1 Black-headed Gull arrived at 06:25, the main arrival being not until 07:00
- an adult Lesser Black-backed Gull again approached from the NE and headed straight for its / the usual buoy. Another adult later
- another Woodcock sighting, this bird headed for a different area to roost
- pair of Sparrowhawks displaying again, causing mayhem amongst the Wood Pigeons
- checked the Magpie roost: 41 is a lower than usual number, likely because some birds are staying at / close to their nests
- two Chiffchaffs singing again
