A quick canter around before the rain got too heavy and drove me away
Bird notes from here:
- One of the Goosanders logged as a drake was a ‘brownhead’ clearly in to moult towards drake plumage. All the other drakes were in full plumage.
- Two Kingfishers rather upset with each other’s presence brightened up an otherwise rather depressing morning. Probably my first multiple sighting here.
- Surprisingly the Song Thrush could be heard in rather halting song.
