Another day viewing from the Castle Farm Way lay-by and the dam top.
Today's highlight was an adult Great Black-backed Gull. This species is annual here in small numbers, mostly in Winter.
Other bird notes:
- The Tufted Duck did much flying around. It was difficult to keep track of them to get an accurate count.
- As usual the gull numbers are the 'instant totals' as I arrived. No significant number arrived or departed.
