This is a barkfly Ectopsocus sp. The separation of the individual species requires genitalia examination.
A collection of springtails. Just how many species are involved here? Top right and bottom left are likely to be Pogonognathellus longicornis. The others?
Oh look: two more!
And two more here with a Tawny Soil Slug Arion owenii.
All these spiders were found on just one of the street lamp poles. This pole, the last one on the path walking towards the M54, often has multiple spiders not usually all of different species. Here we have, clockwise from the top left: a dew-covered Nursery Web Spider Pisaura mirabilis; a male Long-jawed Orb-web Spider Pachygnatha clercki; Stout Sac Spider Clubiona sp.; and Mothercare Spider Phylloneta sisyphia, a Comb-footed spider. As usual help from Obsidentify with these.
Probable Glistening Inkcap fungus Coprinellus micaceus. They are likely to be glistening more than usual by the rain sluicing down on them. A few of these were noted last month nearby. This large group probably also arose from the felling of a tree nearby.
