The Flash only

10.0°C: Cloud beginning to lift and break after overnight rain. Light westerly wind. Very good visibility.

[Sunrise: 07:22 GMT]

A delayed start following early rain and other commitments meant a short visit to The Flash only.

The Flash: 09:25– 10:15

(37th visit of the year)

Bird notes:
- somewhat of a clear-out: gone since yesterday morning were the pair of Gadwall; the trio of drake Pochard; and about a third of the Mallard and the Tufted Duck. Whether this was due to the overnight rain or the number of fishermen is unclear.

Bird(s) noted flying over here:
- 1 Greylag Goose

Noted on / around the water:
- 13 Canada Geese
- 10 Greylag Geese
- 2 + 4 Mute Swans
- 27 (19♂) Mallard
- 1 (1♂) all-white feral duck
- 61 (31♂) Tufted Duck
- 9 Moorhens
- 39 Coots
- 1 Great Crested Grebe
- no gulls

Of note.
Nothing else

The clearer weather had only intermittently arrived so very little worth a few pixels today. Do I need to identify this as a Blue Tit?

It appears to have a loose feather at the base of its bill.

One of a quartet of Goldfinches munching the Alder seeds.
