After yesterday's washout it was trying to find a dry spell to see what might have taken refuge on the waters. Answer: nothing much.

Bird notes:
- just seven additional adult Mute Swans remain.
- an unprecedented (for here) number of Goosanders with 12 noted diving. Normally any singles or duos that do drop in move on very quickly. Not today.
